CHANGES

Have you ever wanted to change the world? Have you ever known someone that you would consider to be a person who’s done that?

When I was younger, I thought a lot about what it would look like to actually change the world. That sounded like a big dream but something the still seemed within reach.

Maybe I would help hospital patients. Maybe I would start a charity, reaching out to those in need. Or maybe I could be well known throughout the world and be an inspirational speaker.

And yet the older that I’ve become, the more that dream has become less lofty & more grounded. Frankly, it’s became less attainable in my mind. Something that seems…impossible. Our world is becoming more and more cold, difficult to live in & chaotic.

However, I was recently reminded that changing the world isn’t always done in big/noticeable ways. Instead, it starts with one life at a time. More importantly, it starts with kindness.

Kindness is more than being polite. It is an active choice to be selfless, considerate and sacrificial to others even when they don’t deserve it. Mother Teresa had it. Billy Graham had it. And so many others.

When they don’t vote like you, look like you or even agree with you. So, if you want to live a life of significance and impact the world for years to come. Start by sharing as much kindness with at least one person each day. You never know, you just may change the world.
